If it was a huge Service Pack like SP3 then I would avoid the rollback as the rollback might have worse affect and endup screwing the machine up.ġ) Go to Windows explorer and set the folder options to show hidden files and folders.Ģ)Locate The Update (i.e C:Windows$NtUninstallKB898461$)ģ)In this folder is another folder called 'spuninst' (Service Pack Uninstall) in this folder there should be the origional file/s along with the new updated version as well. Find out what the update was that caused the issue and do the following: You could try and rollback the update on the machine.
